I <3 Animals! Hand Sewing Workshop
Date: Saturday, February 8th, from 1-4 pm
Location: Better Off Threads Studio, 6635 N Baltimore Ave. Suite 273/274
Join us for a fun and creative Parent & Child Hand-Sewing Workshop, where you and your child will learn the basics of hand-sewing while making your very own small stuffed animal, designed by Mary Ayres of Precious Patterns on Etsy. This engaging, beginner-friendly class is the perfect way to introduce children (and adults!) to sewing in a supportive and hands-on environment.
You’ll learn:
•Basic hand-sewing techniques, including threading a needle, tying knots, and simple stitches like the whip stitch and straight stitch.
•How to cut fabric from a simple pattern, sew, and stuff your own soft toy.
No prior sewing experience is necessary! All materials will be provided, and each duo will leave with two handmade stuffed animals and new sewing skills to continue crafting at home. This is a wonderful opportunity to bond, create, and learn together!
Three spots available for three, parent-child duos. Please register once for you and your child.

For adults & children age 7+. Parent isn’t available? This is also a great opportunity for a relative or other responsible caregiver!
