Welcome to the "Intro to Sewing" workshop! This workshop is designed for beginners who have little to no sewing experience. Our goal is to provide you with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to start your sewing journey with confidence. All tools, sewing machine, and materials provided. Optional: Bring your own sewing machine, fabric scissors, fabric, etc.
Objectives
Understand the basic components and functions of a sewing machine.
Learn how to thread a sewing machine and wind a bobbin.
Explore different measuring and cutting techniques.
Hands-on practice sewing straight and curved seams, backstitching and finishing techniques.
Learn how to troubleshoot common issues.
